Frequently asked questions
What’s included in a free acoustic survey?
One of our expert technicians will meet you on site to:
- diagnose the primary drivers of your acoustic issues.
- gain an understanding of the specific needs of your space and its users.
- recommend the most effective acoustic solution.
Afterwards, we’ll provide a comprehensive (no-obligation) quotation with acoustic panelling design and illustrative photographs. See more about our process.
What factors contribute to poor interior acoustics?
Poor acoustics and high reverberation times can result from factors such as:
- large spaces with high ceilings
- lots of hard, reflective surfaces like glass and concrete
- increased noise levels from internal or external sources
- a lack of soft sound absorbing finishes or acoustic treatments
Addressing these factors can help improve sound quality and comfort within a space.
How long does a free acoustic assessment take?
Our free site survey or acoustic assessment usually takes up to 45 minutes. This includes a full consultation with you about the use of your space and the acoustic problems you’re facing.
What’s the difference between sound absorption and soundproofing?
Sound absorption reduces echo and reverberation within a space by absorbing sound waves to improve sound quality and comfort. Acoustic panels dramatically improve sound absorption within a room.
On the other hand, Soundproofing prevents sound from entering or leaving a space by blocking sound waves from passing through walls, floors and ceilings. This can enhance the privacy between rooms but does not improve the acoustic quality within the space.

How effective are acoustic panels?
Acoustic panels successfully reduce the reverberation time and echo within a room. The Absorption Class of a product (ranging from A – E) defines the amount of sound energy that a panel can absorb. Class A is the highest rating and denotes the most effective products which absorb more than 90% of the sound energy that hits the surface of the panel. Class B products absorb 80-90% of sound energy etc.
What are the different types of acoustic products?
Our acoustic products range from pre-fabricated panels to fully customised solutions, built on-site to meet your specific requirements. Panels are typically fixed to the ceiling or walls and can be installed flush across the whole surface, seamlessly integrating with services such as lighting or speakers.
We partner with Europe’s top manufacturers to offer a variety of acoustics products to solve your needs no matter what type of space you have.
Are custom designs available for acoustic panels?
Yes, absolutely. We offer of-the-shelf products as well as bespoke design solutions to match your specific aesthetic and functional requirements. We can even incorporate custom branding or logos into the designs.
